Match Reviews | THE Winslow Constructors White Hills Demons marked a 23-goal victory against Mount Pleasant in Saturday’s sixth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote DFNL season.
White Hills had home-court advantage for the showdown with the Blues in Scott Street.
The Elly Lawton-coached Demons dominated a lot of the contest to win 53-30.
Despite the defeat the Anthea McCleary-coached Mount Pleasant holds second place on the ladder.
In another week of coaching change, Elmore took to the court with Cade Hayes and Hayley Langdon teaming up as playing and non-playing coach.
The pair took charge after Annie Hockey decided to step away as A-grade coach because of constraints on the time required for the role.
Elmore also made a spirited response from a 56-goal drubbing from Colbinabbin in the rematch of the ’24 grand finalists the previous round.
It was Anna Dundon’s second match as Heathcote’s A-grade coach after she stepped up from being netball operations manager following the resignation of Chloe Meulenmeeters.
On the court it was Elmore which teamed brilliantly in all thirds of the court to claim a 61-29 victory.
