Match Previews | The Hampden Football Netball League is proud to announce its Open Netball squad for the upcoming Association Championships State Finals, to be held later this month. A nine-player squad has been named, with six different clubs represented, showcasing the strength and depth of talent across the league.

Coach Jill Leader is thrilled with the group selected and believes the mix of youth and experience will serve the team well.

“I’m rapt with the balance we’ve found,” Leader said. “We’ve got some exciting emerging players and some seasoned campaigners who know what it takes. This combination gives us great flexibility and adaptability depending on the matchups.”

The State Finals are a fantastic opportunity for Hampden’s best to shine on the big stage, and this squad will no doubt represent the league with pride.

There will also be major celebrations at Hamilton Kangaroos this weekend, with two beloved Division 3 players reaching outstanding milestones. Joe McKew will take the court for her 400th game, a remarkable achievement reflecting years of dedication and commitment. Joining her in the spotlight is Sharnah Malseed, who will play her 250th game.
