The week off has provided teams an opportunity to recover, reset and prepare for what shapes as a significant round in the race for finals positioning.
With fresh legs returning to the court, several sides will be looking to build momentum, while others aim to respond strongly after inconsistent performances leading into the break.
Round 7 arrives with several important matchups beginning to shape the middle part of the season. Darley, North Ballarat and Sunbury continue to establish themselves as the competition benchmarks, while Ballarat and Lake Wendouree are steadily building consistency and confidence each week. Meanwhile, Redan, Sebastopol and East Point will all be searching for strong responses after difficult Round 6 performances as they look to remain within reach of the leading group.
