Wimmera FNLWeekly Advertiser | Warrack Eagles scored a thrilling win over Nhill on Saturday, consolidating fifth spot on the Wimmera league A Grade ladder, and extending the gap from sixth-placed Stawell.

Playing at Davis Park Nhill, the visitors edged out to a three-goal lead at quarter time and were able to maintain that margin for most of the game to run out winners 40-37.

Goal-shooter Briodi McKenzie, with 16 goals, and defender Jordan Heller led the way for the Eagles, who notched up their fourth win of the season.

For the Tigers, Ruby James and Shae-Lea Fischer were judged best.

Horsham Saints proved why they sit undefeated this season, with a convincing 30-goal win over Dimboola.

Through Jorja Clode, goal-shooter, and wing-defence Shannon Cross, the Saints cruised out to a nine-goal lead by quarter time, which they maintained until the main break.
