The Early Crow

Ballarat FNLMatch Previews | Round 10 delivered another telling chapter in the BFNL A Grade season, with several ladder trends continuing to firm up as the competition moves deeper into its second half.

North Ballarat maintained their unbeaten run with a composed 60–51 win over Ballarat, while Sebastopol continued their strong form with a 39–31 victory over East Point.

Darley responded strongly after last week’s narrow win, defeating Sunbury 72–44 in a powerful four-quarter display. Lake Wendouree produced one of the more controlled performances of the round, overcoming Redan 55–23, while Bacchus Marsh edged out Melton 43–41 in a tight, low-margin contest that highlighted the importance of composure in pressure moments.

These results continue to separate the top tier from the chasing pack, with North Ballarat and Sebastopol setting the standard, while Lake Wendouree, Darley and Sunbury remain firmly in the finals mix.
