Match Reviews | GOLDEN Square climbed to the fifth rung on the A-grade netball ladder after Saturday’s round 12 action in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo FNL season.

The Bulldogs took on Broadford at Gourmet Pantry Oval in Golden Square’s Wade Street.

Strong play through the mid-court was capped by a tally of 77 goals as the Teigan Redwood-coached Bulldogs scored a 40-goal win.

The Jaimie Hooper-coached Broadford worked hard to pour in 37 goals against the blue and gold.

Top teams Kangaroo Flat and Gisborne added four more premiership points.

The unbeaten Kangaroo Flat was put under pressure from the Hawks at Bendigo Mazda Oval in Kangaroo Flat’s Dower Park.

Chasing back-to-back premierships the Jayden Cowling-coached Kangaroos won 59-46.

For Eaglehawk coach Janelle Hobbs it was a return to a court she knows well as she previously coached Kangaroo Flat.

Strathfieldsaye faced Gisborne at Triple M Park in Strathfieldsaye’s Tannery Lane.

The Jess Mangan-coached Storm was held to a tally of 20 goals by a tight-knit Gisborne defence.

It was win number eight for the Tarryn Rymer-coached Gisborne which is third in the premiership race.
