Hampden FNLMatch Previews | The race towards the Hampden FNL Open Netball finals series is well and truly heating up, with just eight points separating third and seventh position on the ladder.

Perennial finalists Cobden have surged into third place following an impressive recent run of form, adding further intrigue to an already tight finals battle. With the next fortnight likely to shape the make-up of the top five, clubs will be watching closely to see who can secure a double chance and who will be fighting through the elimination finals.

South Warrnambool and Koroit appear certain to finish inside the top two, with only the order still to be determined.

Their highly anticipated clash this weekend will go a long way towards deciding who claims the valuable minor premiership advantage.

Also this weekend, Portland will celebrate a significant milestone, with Casey Anson set to play her 300th Senior game.

Casey made her senior debut in 2001 in the A Reserve side and, across more than two decades, has become one of the club’s most respected and dedicated members.
