Gippsland FNLFox Footy | Police have arrested a 16-year old boy after a vicious punch in a local Victorian football match that also saw the teenager cop a six-match ban, as first reported by the Herald Sun.

The Sale player violently struck down the Drouin player while he wasn’t looking in the Gippsland U-18s league match last Saturday before hitting him again while floored, sparking an all-in brawl from both sides.

Graphic footage of the incident has since emerged that left the apprentice plumber concussed.

“You can see that I’m not facing him … it’s a stupid act, especially when the bloke isn’t facing you,” the 18-year old victim, who can’t be named for legal reasons, told the Herald Sun.
