Leader News | A COLLECTIVE sigh of disappointment went around Sorrento last week when Lenny Hayes told the Sharks he would not be playing with them this season.
The St Kilda champion, who had trained once with Sorrento, cited increasing work commitments for his decision to remain retired.

"It would have been nice to play with him, but we're not going to get him.
"To be honest, he's that good a player that he should be entitled to finish at the AFL. A lot of players don't get that chance; he gets to call his own retirement.''
Hayes is working with the AFL and Schwarze said he felt he wouldn't have time to play.
