yarrawongaBorder Mail |YARRAWONGA co-coach Brendan Fevola will miss Saturday's critical clash against Wodonga Raiders after being booked to make a one-off appearance for Eastern Football League fourth division club Donvale.

In a huge blow to the Pigeons' chances of climbing back into the top three, Fevola has agreed to play against Glen Waverley Hawks at Donvale Reserve.

It will be the Coleman medallist's fourth celebrity appearance this year, but the first time he has missed a match for the Ovens and Murray heavyweight.

Fevola's absence has the potential to throw Yarrawonga's forward line into disarray, with star half-forward Kayne Pettifer to face the tribunal tonight on a charge of engaging in rough conduct towards Albury's Luke Packer.

Packer was stretchered from the ground in the second quarter after clashing with Pettifer and took no further part in the match.

Fevola and Pettifer lead Yarrawonga's goalkicking with 31 and 17 majors respectively this season with Brandon Symes and Craig Ednie next on seven.

The Pigeons are sweating on the fitness of Tim Cooper (quad), Xavier Leslie (leg) and Damien Vodusek (leg) who missed last weekend's narrow loss to Albury at J.C. Lowe Oval.

A loss would see Yarrawonga slip eight premiership points behind third-placed North Albury if the Hoppers defeat Corowa-Rutherglen.
