Border Mail |Albury will be without Jim Grills for a further two weeks as the young midfielder jets off to South Africa for the World Polocrosse Cup.
Grills has missed the past two matches after suffering a concussion in the round eight clash against Yarrawonga, but said he would be ready to play when he arrived back in the country in time for the round 13 game against North Albury.
"Hopefully I'll be pretty fresh by the time I get back, I'll be making sure I'll be in good nick for the finals," Grills said.
"I think it'll be good to get away for a couple of weeks, especially now that I've recovered from the concussion."
Grills will compete alongside sister Lucy and cousin Abbott in the polocrosse tournament, saying the opportunity to represent Australia alongside his family was simply too good to pass up.
"It's pretty exciting to be able to compete with my family, it's a unique sport in that there aren't any men's or women's categories, you're all in it together," he said.
"It really does bring the team together in a whole new way.
"To be able to play for Australia and win a title with Lucy would be pretty special, I don't think there's many other sports that you could achieve that in."
He said the team had a good chance of coming home with a win, with the hard, fast arenas suiting their aggressive play.
