Katandra Football Netball Club has chosen to stay affiliated with AFL Goulburn Murray and in doing so, leave the Picola and DIstrict Football League. 

A vote was held of all of the clubs members and they voted overwhelmingly  in favour of affiliating with AFL Goulburn Murray for season 2018. Strathmerton FC, also in the Picola and District Footbal league was also holding a meeting today to determine which way it heads for the 2018 season.  With Katandra's decision, it takes to 4 the number of clubs choosing to stay affiliated with AFL Goulburn Murray with a further 3 still undecided.  10 current Picola and District clubs have chosen to stay in the league for 2018.
