Match Previews | The second week of finals action in the SS&A OMFNL will take centre stage on Saturday at Martin Park in Wodonga and then Bunton Park, North Albury on Sunday.
The prize on offer on Saturday for all teams in all grades will be a direct entry into the grand final at the Lavington Sportsground on September 24.
The qualifying final clash in senior football will feature Yarrawonga and Albury who both finished the home and away season on 14 wins and two losses.
The Pigeons are almost at full strength with only rover Harry Wheeler expected to miss. Wheeler is expected to be available if the Pigeons make it to the final Sunday in September.
Albury will have the option this week of playing Bushrangers Connor O’Sullivan and Phoenix Gothard. Michael Duncan looks likely to miss with a hamstring complaint.
The battle in the midfield will feature top-end talent of the highest order with both side’s depth of players capable of running through the middle extraordinarily high.
