MORRIS Medal bolter Todd Bryant yesterday said he wouldn’t be at Wodonga Raiders next season.

Bryant, 22, has revealed he plans to move interstate after finishing university this year.

The midfielder, who has played all his footy at Birallee Park, is weighing up opportunities in both Queensland and Western Australia.

“At this stage I won’t be at Raiders,” Bryant said.

“It’s time for a change.

“I’ve been here my whole life and I’m looking to get away and do something different.

“But I’ll be back one day, for sure.”

The hard-working onballer, who has been one of the Raiders’ most reliable players over recent seasons, was elevated to club captain after Mark Doolan went down with a serious knee injury mid-season.

Doolan will play at Tallangatta and District league club Chiltern next year.

Bryant, meanwhile, admitted he was shocked that he had polled 15 votes at Monday night’s count to finish behind only Matt Grossman, Dean Polo and the winner Xavier Leslie.

“It was a bit of a surprise, that’s for sure,” Bryant said.

“We only won three games for the year.

“I was rapt for Xave Leslie.

“He really deserved it.”
