Ballarat FNLMedia Release | The McDonald’s BFNL is pleased to name its senior netball team to take on the Hampden FNL in the Worksafe Community Championships held on May 18.

Michael Saker accepted the position and was looking forward to leading the team following his coach of the year honours at the end of last season.

The team of the year were offered first preference of positions and those who are no longer in the league or could not commit have been replaced. The squad includes nine players from a total of five clubs.

North Ballarat have the strongest representation with four of their players accepting positions. Saker believes the team is a good mix of youth and experience and is confident they will be competitive against Hampden FNL.

Several of the players named in the senior team have represented the BFNL in the junior interleague program which is great for the league. Several of the players will represent the league at senior level for the first-time including Madison Quayle, Maddison Selmon, and Poppy Douglass.
