Ballarat FNLMedia Release | The McDonalds BFNL is pleased to partner with Carlton United Brewery for the McDonalds BFNL Carlton Draught Senior Finals.

The first week of the final series is shaping up to be a big one with the finish of the 2019 regular season as even as it has been for a number of years. Week one will see East Point take on Sebastopol in the qualifying final after the two teams finished at the top of the ladder, separated by percentage alone.

Sebastopol have made big improvements over the past two seasons and for them to finish second on the ladder is very exciting. East Point in their premiership defense sat on top of the ladder for the majority of the season, but rival clubs have proven they can be beaten.

Darley will host Redan in the first of the elimination finals and Sunbury and Melton will meet at Darley on Sunday for the second elimination final. Everyone in the league knows how hard it is to travel so Redan will have the toughest task for week one.

In the netball side of the fixture the match up between Sunbury and East Point in the Qualifying final on Saturday is one with high expectation.

The teams met just once at during the regular season and it was Sunbury who took the points. East Point will take on Bacchus Marsh in the Elimination Final who have made a late charge to secure a spot in the top six while Lake Wendouree will meet Ballarat Swans in the second elimination final.Ballarat took until the last round of the home and away season to consolidate their position.

We wish all teams of the best of luck as they tackle week one of the McDonalds BFNL Carlton Draught Senior Finals
