Central Murray FNLMatch Reviews | THE Woorinen Tigers marked another “statement game” as they thrashed Cohuna Kangas in the Radio 3SH-backed Central Murray senior footy clash on Saturday.

It was 10th consecutive victory for the Tim Free-coached Woorinen which blitzed in the first half.

Woorinen led 44-14 at quarter-time and then added another four in the second as it kept the Kangas to just three goals in the first hour.

By half-time the yellow and black led 70-20.

Defences were on top in a third quarter which went Cohuna’s way, 13-6.

The Tigers fought back to win the last, 26-8, on the way to an emphatic 102-41 victory.

Kyle Skene kicked a match-high six goals as Will Collicoat, Doug Beames and Xavier Johnson booted two each.

Only multiple goalkicker for the Kangas was Riley Hird on two.

Woorinen’s best were Jye Barry, Kyle Skene, Taylor Cameron, Zack Ryan, Henry Thompson and Matt Gardner.

Chris Anderson, Ricky Monti, Tom Toma, Hudson Fountain, Jarrod Findlay and Lachlan English were best for the Jack Geary-coached Cohuna Kangas.
