On Saturday the Daniel Pearce and Matt Walder-coached Royals charged to a 20-point lead by half-time of the clash with the Magpies.

Boort struck back to win the third quarter, 38-14.

In the last it was Donald which dominated a lot of play.

As the Royals scored 4.3 they kept the Pies to a tally of 2.1
