North Central FNLMatch Reviews | WEDDERBURN is the only unbeaten team in Goldacres North Central FNL senior footy following Saturday’s round six win against Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers.

The Tom Metherell-coached Redbacks overcame a 13-point deficit at quarter-time to win the clash in their web at Donaldson Park by 40 points.

It was an outstanding performance by Wedderburn which won the second quarter, 29-2, and then outscored SNL by 13 points in the third and 13 in the last.

Matt Perri led the attack on three goals in an 84-44 victory as Noah Furlong, Oscar Holt and Hamish Lockhart kicked two goals each.

It’s been a long time since Sea Lake Nandaly did not have a player mark multiple goals in a match and was held to a tally of six goals.

Best for Wedderburn were Jye Mortlock, Zach Pallpratt, Jayden Jones, Noah Furlong, Corey Lowry and Hamish Lockhart.

Trent Donnan, Adam Pattison, Charlie Cox, Billy Poulton, Robin Nahas and co-coach Wade Donnan were the Tigers’ best.

SLN also has Boyd Bailey as co-coach.
