Geelong Advertiser | NEXT week, to honour the legends of the Geelong Football League, the Geelong Advertiser will be listing the top 50 GFL players since the league’s inception in 1979, as part of a celebration of the GFL’s history.
The Addy team and our team of consultants have spent the past month researching and speaking with clubs to formulate a shortlist of the best players to ever play in the GFL.
The only criteria is that players must have played 100 or more games at senior GFL level to be considered. This ensures the list celebrates the pure legends of local football.
