Noradjuha QuantongWimmera-Mail Times| NORADJUHA-QUANTONG held its nerve in a tight final quarter to record a one-point win against Rupanyup at Quantong.

The Bombers trailed in the first half but grabbed the ascendancy in the third quarter.

Kicking into the wind in the last quarter, the home side had two players sent off by the umpire for wrestling and the momentum shifted back to Rupanyup.

The Panthers kicked a goal to narrow the gap to one point, and the Bombers had to endure four minutes of tense, scoreless football before the siren sounded to give them a 10.16 (76) to 11.9 (75) win.

Noradjuha-Quantong coach Jarred Combe said it was great to triumph under difficult circumstances.

"Jason Kerr really stood up when we needed him to throughout the game, and Remy Cross and James Gregg came up from the under-17s," he said.

Rupanyup co-coach Scott Finnigan said the endeavour shown by his players was terrific, with the side only let down by a few skill errors in the first half.
