wimflWimmera-Mail Times | HORSHAM put the squeeze on Warrack Eagles on Saturday, holding them goal-less until the third term, running rampant in their 173-point win.

The Demons kicked 10-goals to nothing in the opening term and did not let up, eventually running away with the 31.9 (195) to 3.4 (22) win.

Co-coach Brad Hartigan said his side gelled well together.

“For the most part we played great team footy and were prepared to share the footy around,” he said.

“I think the most pleasing thing was that we we kept them to a point for two and a bit quarters.”

The Demons were able to repel the Eagles’ forward thrusts and produce scoring opportunities themselves.

John Wood kicked nine goals for the Demons, Rhona Conboy five and Nick Pekin four as Horsham clicked all across the ground.

Charlie Wilson kicked two goals for the Eagles, while Kyle George was his customary best.
