KRock Football | GFL coach Clinton Wells says he and fellow selectors took a “targeted approach” in assembling the squad for the AFL Victoria Community Championships 1v2 clash with the Northern league.
Thirty-six players were invited to training last week, smaller than the initial squads named in previous years which have usually between 40 and 50.
“Last year we canvassed a number of blokes and lot of them were unavailable,” Well said.
