Riddell District FNLMedia Statement | The RDFNL have been in close consultation with AFL Victoria and the AFL who have been following advice from Government Health Experts.

Today, recommendations have been passed down for all Community Football/Netball Leagues to postpone all training sessions, practice matches, and regular season matches until after May 31st.

The RDFNL accepts and endorses these recommendations as suggested by AFL Victoria. The RDFNL will continue to work closely with AFL Victoria as this extremely unique situation continues to evolve.

The RDFNL Board and staff will be working on a communication to come out in regard to how the season will look from here including changes to the RDFNL Senior Fixture as well as a number of any implications to the respective Competitions.

RDFNL President Brenton Knott had the following message to relay: "The RDFNL is a great asset to the Community, which we proved recently at the BlazeAid charity event. We are facing a serious challenge at the moment, but if we stand strong, and work together rationally and sensibly, we will come out the other end united."
