AFL Barwonkrock Football | AFL Barwon chair Craig Keating says the local governing body has “a starting point” of Geelong and Bellarine League football and netball resuming on Saturday if Victoria’s COVID-enforced lockdown is lifted later this week.

Community sport and the training that goes with it have been put on hold due to a seven-day “circuit-breaker” that lasts until Thursday, 11:59pm.

Some coaches have raised concerns – both publicly and privately – at the prospect of playing without training in the lead-up.
