K Rock Football | Bell Post Hill has queried the final score from Saturday’s loss to the Belmont Lions, claiming that a goal it kicked in the second quarter of the clash at Winter Reserve was incorrectly credited to the home team.
The final score on the day showed the Lions defeating the Panthers, 19.7 (121) to 18.12 (120).
However, after the GDFNL’s statistics provider Premier Data coded the match, it showed the scoreline to be 18.11 (119) to 18.7 (115).
The score in question is a goal kicked by Panthers’ milestone man Caleb Bacely at the 13-minute mark of the second quarter.
Bell Post Hill believes the goal was credited to the Lions before being added to the Panthers’ score.
However, they claim it wasn’t removed from the Lions’ tally.
K rock Football understands that the GDFNL is investigating.
