Hampden FNLMatch Previews | The Hampden Football Netball League (HFNL) will celebrate a remarkable milestone this weekend as Jason Rowan reaches 300 senior games — a career achievement that cements his place among the competition’s all-time greats.

Jason began his HFNL senior career in 2006 as a 17-year-old with Warrnambool Football Netball Club, where he quickly established himself as one of the league’s most damaging and respected forwards.

Over an outstanding decade with Warrnambool from 2006–2016, Jason became a key figure at the club, creating a legacy built on consistency, leadership, and an extraordinary ability in front of goal.

In 2017, Jason took on the challenge of senior coaching at Merrivale Football Netball Club, guiding the club from the sidelines while continuing to contribute his knowledge and experience to the game. After three seasons in the coaching role, he returned to Warrnambool for the 2021 and 2022 seasons before joining the Port Fairy Football Netball Club with his family in 2023.

Since arriving at Port Fairy, Jason has continued to make a remarkable contribution both on and off the field, sharing his experience with teammates and playing an important role in the club’s success and culture.
