Weekly Times |SEBASTIAN Cua and Ben Ridley have been appointed Red Cliffs senior football coaches for 2016.
Cua and Ridley were bench coaches in the Tigers’ past two Sunraysia Football League premierships under Troy Moncur (2014) and Shannon Motlop (2015).
The duo replace former AFL player Nick Stevens, who was appointed as coach last November but was informed by AFL Victoria he was unable to coach due to a lack of accreditation.
Stevens is awaiting a County Court appeal later this year after he was found guilty of multiple domestic abuse-related charges last year.
He is also currently appealing a playing ban put in place by the league’s board.
Ridley, whose father Gavin was the club’s 1985 premiership coach, is also a former senior coach at the club.
