ABOUT to turn 18 and desperate for your own set of wheels?
A season with the Nilma-Darnum Football Club could be the answer.
In a bid to boost their junior list, the Bombers are offering eligible players the chance to win a car.
The club has purchased a mid-`90s Holden VR Commodore Acclaim, using proceeds from last year's family day and donations from sponsors.
Under-18 players will be given a ticket in the car draw each time they train, play and attend club functions.
Bombers president Mat Price said the ticket system was designed to reward the best clubman, rather than the best player.
"We haven't fielded an under-18s team for two years and we lost our other two (junior teams) last year so we had to do something drastic to try and come up with some players,'' he said.
"You need something to make you stand out among the other clubs.
"There's been a lot of interest from guys that already play here, not a lot from outside as yet, but we're hoping it will snowball.''
The club is still seeking players for its three junior teams. For details, phone Mat Price on 0419 477 281.
