oandmThe SS&A Ovens & Murray Football Netball League board has reviewed events surrounding the recent Worksafe Victoria Country Championships on 23 May 2015.

Following last night's board meeting the League has taken action in that regard, including a number of sanctions and will look to put future protocols in place. It is a disappointing outcome for the league, but the matter is now closed and we look forward to moving on with the remainder of the 2015 season.

The League and its officials will make no further comment in relation to any such incident.

Separately, the League, as with all interleague campaigns, is reviewing the process generally with the intention of improving the structure to optimise outcomes as far as possible and improve the playing experience.

The League is extremely grateful to all the players, volunteers and supporters who assisted with time and effort in the quest for a successful outcome this year.

The SS&A OMFNL will begin the process in the coming weeks in appointing a new coach for our 2016 clash with the Hampden Football Netball League.
