History will be made at this years' Ovens & Murray Hall of Fame evening on Wednesday, July 8. The league will honour the first ever female inductee since the inception of the event in 2005.

In lead up to this special occasion the SS&A Ovens & Murray Football Netball League will hold a launch event at the SS&A's Locker Room at 10:30am on Tuesday, June 23 where the history making induction will be made public.

Past Hall of Fame inductees will be present and the media are also invited to attend.

Ovens & Murray General Manager Aaron McGlynn says Tuesday's announcement will be an incredible
moment for the league.

"There are so many amazing women who have contributed to the success of the league. The
amalgamation of football and netball a little over 20 years ago strengthened those bonds and this latest announcement is further acknowledgement of the contribution and impact that has been made on the league".
