Coach Peter Knights and his team of selectors have trimmed the Vic Country No.1 squad to 26 players ahead of the clash against the VAFA.

The best of country football will be on show this Saturday when WorkSafe AFL Victoria Country's three representative squads take on the Victorian Amateur Football Association at Bendigo's Queen Elizabeth Oval.

AFL Victoria Country No.1 coach Peter Knights and his team of selectors have chosen a squad of 26 players, with a decision on the make-up of the 22-man team to be made following a final training session on Wednesday night.

The AFL Victoria Country No.2 Squad and Energy Safe AFL Victoria Country U19 Squad will be released on Tuesday morning.
