rosedaleRosedale Football Netball Club will celebrate 130 Years of History on Saturday 9 August 2014.

Scheduled to play host to Gormandale the day is set to be a commemorative one for the Blues, as the Seniors play centre stage to the celebrations with first bounce at 2.10pm.

The day will commence with the action on the court and field with the future stars, Under 15 netball action commencing at 9am before the Thirds footballers take to the field for the opening bounce at 10am.

The clubs 130 year and season 2014 coincides and marks the netball premiership anniversaries of the 1984 A and B Grade sides, which was followed by flags a decade later to A and B Grades in 1994, the D Grade title in 1999 and more recently the B Grade flag of 2004. Rosedale extends a special invite to players and officials who were part of these successful eras for the royal blue netballers.
Formalities of the day will commence at 1pm in the new social club rooms with President Steve Bourne to share with those in attendance the future plans for the club while reflecting on how far the Rosedale Blues have come in over a century.

The club extends an invite to all past footballers, netballers, trainers, volunteers, committee members and coaches to join in the celebrations of the day reliving past glories, and occasionally embellish the truth!

To those people attending the day and evening absorb the passion, commitment and sacrifice that has been shown over many years and that this history stands Rosedale as one of the oldest and Proudest Club in Country Football.
