An initial 44 man training squad has been selected for the SS&A Ovens & Murray Football Netball League's interleague clash against the Peninsula Football Netball League on May 25th at Visy Park in Melbourne.
All 10 SS&A OMFNL clubs are represented in the squad, with 2012 premier Yarrawonga boasting eight squad members whilst last year's runner up Albury is not far behind with seven inclusions.
Interleague coach Matt Pendergast, along with his selection panel of Ron Montgomery, Jason McMahon and Leigh Ramsdale will now start to ramp up preparations for the all important clash.
A win this year will see the SS&A OMFNL return as one of the top two teams in Country Victoria.
The first training session for the 2013 senior squad will be a recovery session held in Wangaratta on Sunday, 5th of May with additional training dates on the 8th, 15th, 21st and 23rd of May.
