Round 14 gets underway for the Mallee Football League this week with 3 tantalising matches.

Sealing their second straight victory in as many weeks COWWARR have firmed their hold on a late charge to September action with the Saints 45 point victory over Glengarry elevating the side back into the five.

Round 13 of the Mallee Football League came to its conclusion this week, and Hopetoun and Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers did battle over at Berriwillock for the first match of the round.

With their season on the line, and wins a must, COWWARR sealed one of their best victories of 2014 against their highly fancied opponent Yarram.

Once again quality football prevailed over difficult conditions, as round 12 of the Mallee Football League concluded on Saturday.
