Upsets and big bags galore as we look through all of Saturday's senior matches in the Murray, Goulburn Valley, Heathcote and District, Picola and District and Central Murray football league results.
Moama produced one of its better best games of the year to stun rival Echuca United in the Murray Football League, prevailing 18.10 (118) to 14.12 (96).
The Magpies managed only three behinds in the first term but responded with a terrific nine goal-second quarter to produce a 41-point turnaround.
The team kept its lead for the rest of the match to win by 22 points, with Lachie Schultz (five goals), Tyler Jones (seven) and Sammy O'Meara the team's best players.
The Eagles were left shell shocked after the match and desperate to respond from this performance, which was led by Liam Guinan, Toby Gilmour and Ricki Waters.
■ After an even first half in which both teams were only separated by three points, Nathalia proved too strong for Tongala to win 14.12 (96) to 7.5 (47).
The Purples kicked nine goals to two in the second half to stay fifth on the ladder, led by Tom Nihill, Phillip Carroll and Craig Whyte, while coach Jason Limbrick kicked six goals.
James Cullum was Tongala's best player in his return game, while Jordan Souter and Adam Lovison also impressed.
Andrew Reid finished with four goals.
■ Deniliquin Rams continued its remarkable run of performances to knock off ladder-leader Finley, 11.11 (77) to 7.12 (54).
It was the Rams' eighth win in a row and the team did it by holding the Cats goalless in the final quarter while adding three of their own.
Todd Gallagher, Oliver Draffin and Daniel Jordan were the stars for the home side in the tough contest, while Stephen Patten, Nick Robertson and Ned Morrison were valiant for Finley.
■ Rumbalara is only 0.4 per cent off the top of the ladder after it outplayed Numurkah to win 17.11 (113) to 8.7 (55).
The visitors dominated in the first half to record 15 scoring shots to two and eventually run out 58-point winners, with Dylan Kerr, Nathan Terlich and Levi Power leading the way.
Damian Cupido and Justin Terlich combined for seven majors.
Liam Gledhill, Tom Buzza, Jordan O'Dwyer and Brett Kimberley (three goals) tried hard for the Blues.
■ Mulwala maintained its search for a spot in the six with a comfortable 16.13 (109) to 8.13 (61) win against Congupna.
The Road led by one point at half-time but it was all the visitors after that as they powered away with a further 10 goals to two.
Sean Robinson starred for the winners alongside Dylan Robinson and Mitch Collins-Bye, with Chase Strawhorn and Jackson Weir combining for seven goals.
Matt Shannon, Joseph Dwyer and Ben Hicks were the best for the home team.
■ Twelve players got on the scoresheet as Barooga stayed sixth on the ladder with a 37.11 (173) to 5.1 (31) win against Cobram.
Marcus Smith, Natthanial Nixon (five goals) and James Philpot (four goals) were the team's best players, while Jake Russell, Will Gorman and Keiran Hill added another 10 goals to the tally.
Paul Diretto, John Lucas and Lance Crowe were the best for the Tigers.
Goulburn Valley Football League
Josh Mellington blew Echuca away single-handedly as the Saints smashed the Murray Bombers 21.13 (139) to 9.11 (65).
Mellington booted 10 goals in the victory as his team raced away to lead by 55 points at half-time after an even first term.
Jake Pallpratt and Lachie Smith also starred for the home side, while Nick Warnock kicked four goals.
Tom Stevens, Matt Pollock and Liam Wilkinson were the best for Echuca.
■ Grant Weeks booted nine goals and Dylan Cuttriss five as Rochester secured an important win in emphatic style against Euroa, prevailing 22.11 (143) to 9.6 (60).
Weeks was the stand out player of the match and was ably supported by Ash Watson and Chris Sanders (three goals).
Nathan Gilliland (three goals), Nick Snowdon and Andrew Bell were the best for the Magpies.
■ Shepparton Swans stayed second on the ladder with a hard-fought win against Tatura, 9.12 (66) to 7.9 (51).
Scores were locked at the final break but the visitors kicked away with three goals to one to come out 15-point winners, led by Brady Childs, Jessie Finnen and Jamason Daniels (three goals).
James Wall, Chris Ryan and Jayden Young were the best for the Bullogs, while Simon Whiting kicked three goals.
■ Shepparton kicked five goals to one in the last quarter to add further heartbreak to Seymour, winning 14.8 (92) to 12.11 (83).
The Lions looked set to record only their second win of the year after leading by 32 and 16 points at half-time and the final breaks respectively, but it was not to be as the Bears powered home led by Sam Bowmaker, Ash Holland and Rowan Hiscock, while Tom Thorsen kicked four goals.
Jason Cole, Dan Freeman and Brent Colbert were the best for Seymour.
■ Mooroopna moved up to seventh spot on the ladder after it held on against a fast-finishing Mansfield to prevail 11.12 (78) to 9.13 (67).
The Cats were well on top in the opening three quarters and led by 40 points at the last break, but the Eagles challenged late with four goals from 11 scoring shots to two behinds to fall 11 points short.
Pat Contin, Joe Sullivan and Daniel Lewis (five goals) led the way for the winners, with Charlie Burrows and Rob Osborne each kicking three goals.
Ben Fagan (four goals), Adam Boshevski and Chris Hensby tried hard for the Eagles.

Heathcote and District Football League
Lockington-Bamawm United survived its second thriller in as many weeks defeating Mt Pleasant 14.16 (100) to 14.10 (94).
The Cats started well and led by 16 points at half-time, but a seven-goal to four third quarter saw just a one-point margin at the last break.
In a tense final term, the visitors kicked two goals to one to win by six points and stay second on the ladder.
Jonathan Hay continued his performance surge in the forward line with five goals, while John Halloran and Chris Hudson also impressed.
Lachie Collins finished with four goals.
Kain Robins, Matt Filo and Tim Hill were valiant for Mounts, while Matt Gretgrix (five goals) and Jarrod Findlay (three goals) impacted the scoreboard.
■ A seven-goal second term saw Colbinabbin keep its finals hopes alive as it defeated fifth-placed White Hills 14.13 (97) to 9.8 (62).
In an otherwise even contest, the Grasshoppers were led to the vital win by a starring performance from Linton Jacobs (six goals), Stephen Tuohey and Will Morrow.
Sam Kerr, Matt Lehane and Matt Frecker were the best for the Demons, while Ricky Symes kicked four goals.
■ A 12-goal third quarter was the highlight of North Bendigo's 169-point thumping of Elmore, 31.17 (203) to 4.10 (34).
Jeremy Mills (three goals), Tyson Findlay (eight) and James Coppock were the best for the winners, while Damien Webb (six), Brendan Jennings (five) and Ryan Alford (three) all got in on the scoring action.
Jack Hayes, Dean Holyman and Jack Vredenburg tried hard for the Bloods.
■ Huntly secured its fourth win of the season with a comfortable result against Heathcote, 18.14 (122) to 6.11 (47).
The Hawks took control of the match from the outset and finished up 75-point winners, led by Matt Jeffries, Harry Whittle and Jarrod Alford.
Jack Threlfall and Alex Demeo kicked five and three goals respectively.
Daniel Carroll, Daniel Russell and Jack Paisley tried hard for the Saints.
Picola and District Football League north-west
Mathoura may have lost to Tocumwal by 89 points, but it was the closest match of the round in the league.
The Timbercutters had no answer to the Bloods, whose nine-goal second quarter saw them to a 15.20 (110) to 3.2 (21) win.
Cory Parish, Eli Boyer and Michael O'Riordan (three goals) were the best for the winners, while Dylan Flanagan kicked four goals.
Tim Sparey, Damian Dalziel and Rodney Reeves were valiant in defeat for the Timbercutters.
■ Blighty kicked eight goals in the first and last quarters as it romped to a 118-point defeat of Picola United, 25.17 (167) to 8.1 (49).
Jarrod Wilson (four goals), Kyel Bain (six) and Judd Barnes were the pick of the Redeyes, while Keith Baron and Michael Madden each booted four majors.
David Low, John Walker and Darcy Botterill tried hard for the Blues, while Dylan Cunningham kicked four goals.
■ Aaron Purcell has now kicked 27 goals in two weeks after he added a further 12 against Berrigan as Jerilderie won 22.16 (148) to 6.9 (45).
James Gregory and Tom and Dan Bryce were named the Demons' best, with Justin Crawford, Lochie Schifferle and Stuart Pyle leading the way for the Saints.
■ Josh Evans and Adrian Crestani each booted eight goals in best-on-ground performances as Strathmerton impressed with an accurate kicking match against Yarroweyah, winning 30.9 (189) to 8.6 (54).
A 12-goal second quarter saw the visitors' lead extend from one point to 75, with Brayden Coburn also impressing.
Zeke Bunge and Shaun Downie each kicked three goals.
Chase Saunders booted six of his team;s eight goals, with Reece Miller and Jonathan Andrew also playing well.
Central Murray Football League
Balranald eased to a comfortable win against Tyntynder, 15.16 (106) to 7.7 (49).
Bryce Delmenico, Kane Griffiths and Damian Russo led the way for the Kangaroos, with Jarryd Stead (five goals), Cameron Barrett (three) and Ben Fuller (three) also chipping in.
Mark Corrie, Elliot Broad, Lachlan Carroll and Brad Carroll (three goals) were the best for the Bulldogs.
■ Mallee Eagles moved into fifth spot on the ladder with a good win against NNW United, 15.19 (109) to 9.2 (56).
A five-goal to one third quarter set up the win for the visitors, with Jacob Wade, Steven Thomson and Warren Carlyle the team's best, while Tyson Mihocek kicked four goals.
Jaydyn Borchard, Ash Thompson and Stuart Polkinghorne were the best for the home side, with Darryl White finishing with three goals.
■ The clash between second and third saw Tooleybuc-Manangatang come away with a surprisingly comfortable win against Swan Hill, 18.10 (118) to 11.10 (76).
The result brings the Saints within reach of the Swans on the ladder.
No details were available.
■ Kerang moved back to the top of the ladder with a thumping win against Lake Boga, 24.16 (160) to 5.7 (37).
Luke Livingston starred with a 10-goal haul, with Troy Coates and Troy Thamm (four goals) also impressing.
Marc Reiffel and Luke Cotchett kicked three goals each.
Jackson Holt, Lachlan Murley and Nick O'Neill (three goals) were the best for the Magpies.
■ A six-goal to one third quarter saw Woorinen dispose of Koondrook-Barham 12.16 (88) to 5.7 (37).
Will Gunter, Jason Iannucci and Ben Heenan were the best for the winners, while Raiders players Lucas Matthews, Tom lamb and Tyson Webb tried hard.
