malleeflTwo thrilling victories in the first week of the Mallee Football League's finals series saw the Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers take the first berth in the Grand Final, and Woomelang-Lascelles move a step closer towards back to back flags.

Jeparit is primed to host the Preliminary Final between minor premiers, Beulah, and Woomelang-Lascelles. The Cats will be brimming with confidence after their demolition of Ouyen United last week, while the Blues have nothing to lose and will leave nothing on the park.

The Cat's forward line has gone from strength to strength this season, and Jason Krueger and Jayden Lonergan will come under close scrutiny from the Beulah backman. The versatile Jack Shannahan will also provide plenty of headaches for the Blues, as his form last week proved how influential he can be.

There are plenty of match winners sitting in Beulah's corner however, and Andrew Hughes and Scott Smith will lead the way with their aggression and strength around the contest. Denis Redden's addition to the forward line will allow Brock Orval and Callum Buchannan to move further up the ground and create the run that the Blues have been lacking over the past month.

Corey Kelly, if he is fit to play, and Brodie Adcock will provide the x-factor for the Cats, while the Blues will look to the brilliance of Shaun Monohan and Fabian Dorbolo to break the game open.

Expect to see a high scoring shootout between these fierce rivals, and if the history between these two sides over the past decade is anything to go on, this game could go either way.
