League Review | The Lockington Bamawm United Cats marked a crucial step to a breakthrough finals appearance in Saturday’s 11th round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote District Football Netball League.
The Jessie Hardess-coached LBU lifted its play in the third term to win by six goals on the way to a 49-43 on Heathcote’s court at Barrack Reserve.
When these clubs met in round two it was Heathcote which won by five goals at Lockington.
Best for the Cats in their win against the Saints included Maddy Atherton, Chelsea Hicks and Annalesa Turner.
