Hampden FNLMatch Review | There were no real surprises in last week’s results with North Warrnambool Eagles defeating Port Fairy by 46 goals.

Emily Saffin, coming up from the 17/U’s and filling a gap with both Skye Billings and Tahni Porter not available, played an outstanding game, scoring 25 goals and Tessa Allen, who has had a very consistent season to date, put in another solid performance for the Seagulls.

South Warrnambool defeated Terang Mortlake 69 – 48. Terang Mortlake were able to go goal for goal in the first quarter but the Roosters opened up to a 15 goal lead by half time. Eboni Knights was accurate in the goal circle for the Bloods while Isabella Rea was best on court for South Warrnambool.

Camperdown were ready to play when they took on Koroit at Leura Oval. The first quarter was an intense contest and the improvement in the Magpies was evident only going down by 5 at the first break. Koroit slowly wore down their opposition and were eventual winners 67 – 32. Nell Mitchell contributed 52 goals for the saints and Molly McKinnoon had a consistent four quarters, whilst Piper Stephens had a great game for Camperdown.
