The Standard |THE verdict is in: Koroit will win the Hampden league senior football grand final, according to competition followers.
An overwhelming majority of fans believe the Saints will secure back-to-back premierships when they take on Warrnambool at Reid Oval on Saturday.
A poll on The Standard’s website asking which sides will win the senior football and A grade netball grand finals, had attracted 126 votes by midday on Wednesday.
A whopping 95, or more than three-quarters, backed the Saints while 31 believed the Blues could cause an upset.
But fans had difficulty splitting A grade netball combatants Camperdown and North Warrnambool Eagles.
The Magpies got the nod, 66 votes to 60, a result which reflects the closeness of their three season encounters.
