The Standard |AN investigation into an incident involving a supporter at a Warrnambool and District league football match between East Warrnambool and South Rovers has found they were not a member of either club.
League general manager Dianne Membery said advice from AFL Victoria suggested it could have acted against a club for bringing the competition into disrepute, if the person was aligned to it.
The matter can be referred to the police.
