Moama netballer Bridgette Furphy will play in the Victorian Netball League finals next week.
The 16-year-old is a member of the Yarra Valley Grammar Ariels under 19s team which finished second on the ladder after winning 14 of its 18 matches.
The team will play ladder-leader City West Falcons in the semi-finals with a chance to go straight into the grand final on Wednesday.
Furphy and the other players are looking forward to trying to take out the championship after missing the finals by 0.01 per cent last year.
