Churchill returned to the winners list with a strong effort against third placed Woodside. Reeling from last week's defeat the Cougars stared strongly and never relinquished control of the contest winning 41 to 29.

Cowwarr Saints registered a comprehensive 32 goal victory over Boisdale/Briagolong, while TTU kept their finals chances alive with a 46 to 38 goal win over Glengarry.

Heyfield proved too strong for Sale City the mid court players delivery into the goal square was sublime and set up the 58 to 27 goal victory.

Gormandale continued to show why they can lay claim to this seasons title with a comprehensive 20 goal victory over Rosedale.
