It was fourth against third in what was a likely first semi-final prelude on Ultima’s court.
Scores were 9-all at quarter-time and 22-all by the main break.
In the third Ultima scored 12 goals as the Swans added 11.
A one-goal buffer for the Roos at the start of the final quarter was five by the end after they won the term, 12-8, and the match, 46-41.
Grace Farrell and Ash Sanders had an identical goals tally of 23 for Ultima.
Moulamein’s Maddy Wild scored a game-high 24 goals as Meg-Jordyne Rooney added 17.
Wandella won every quarter on its way to a 20-goal victory against Hay in the Bombers’ hangar.
