Central Murray FNLMatch Reviews | Mallee Eagles marked an important win against Cohuna Kangas in the 14th round of A-grade netball played in the Central Murray on Saturday.

A 45-34 win by the Eagles on the Kangas’ court at Cohuna meant Mallee jumped to the fourth rung on the ladder.

At four rounds to go in the home-and-away series, Mallee and Cohuna are locked on 28 points and a win clear of the sixth-placed Woorinen.

Results in all other A-grade matches on Saturday went as expected.

The ladder-leading Lake Boga scored a 50-38 win at home against the Woorinen Tigers.

Swan Hill marked a 35-goal victory on Nyah Nyah West United’s court.

At the final siren the Swans led the Demons, 61-26.

Balranald beat Koondrook Barham by 35 goals on the Kangaroos’ court at Greenham Park.
