Loddon Valley FNLMatch Reviews | FAVOURITES reigned supreme across all four A-grade netball matches played in round three of the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.

Action began on Anzac Day when Maiden Gully YCW Eagles faced Newbridge under the Marist College Oval lights in Maiden Gully.

Although the Leisa Barry-coached Eagles had home-court advantage they could not halt Newbridge’s charge to it first win of the season.

A Maroons’ team jointly coached by Selina Holland and Kirsty Gandy netted a 54-24 victory.

In Saturday’s play, Pyramid Hill was on home turf at Mitchell Park against Mitiamo.

A high-scoring contest went the way of Mitiamo by 10 goals.

The Superoos who are being jointly coached by Abbey Battersby and Jess Kaur won a great match, 65-55.

A Pyramid Hill team coached by Chelsea Emmerson, Simone Edgley and Laura Herbert will now focus on next Saturday’s match at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.

The Bulldogs take on the Danielle O’Toole and Lara Clements-coached Bears who had a bye last Saturday and hold third place on the ladder.
