Match Reviews | PYRAMID Hill and Marong marked important wins in Saturday’s fifth round of A-grade netball across the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL competition.
The Pyramid Hill line-up was on its court at Mitchell Park against Bridgewater.
A 53-47 victory by the Chelsea Emmerson, Simone Edgley and Laura Herbert-coached Pyramid Hill meant it held second place in the premiership race.
The Caz Wood and Olivia Hoiles-coached Bridgewater will be back home for next Saturday’s match against the Demons from Calivil United.
Another big match in round five was at Marong where the Panthers were on their court at Jackal Oval in Malone Park to face Bears-Lagoon Serpentine.
Co-coach of the Bears, Danielle O’Toole was up against her former club.
A great match between the Panthers and Bears ended in a 53-47 win for a Marong team coached by Bridget Willox.
The Bears’ co-coach is Lara Clements.
