Match Reviews | ELMORE broke Mount Pleasant’s unbeaten run in Saturday’s fourth round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Heathcote DFNL season.
Stung by consecutive losses to White Hills and Huntly, Elmore hit back for a 17-goal victory on its court against the Blues.
The Anthea McCleary-coached Mount Pleasant had made a great start to the season as a hat-trick of wins was by margins of 37, 30 and 30 goals.
On Saturday it was the Annie Hockey-coached Elmore which dominated most of the contest.
By the final siren the Bloods led 49-32.
The Harlowe Huntly Hawks won a hard-fought match on North Bendigo’s court at Bendigo Club Oval in Atkins Street by four goals.
A 41-37 victory by the Ashlea Sherlock and Kym Bell-coached Hawks meant they soared to the top of the ladder.
Was a great effort by the Kiralee Kinder following an upset win at White Hills the previous round.
This time the red, white and blue could not halt Huntly’s charge to a fourth consecutive victory.
Heathcote netted its first A-grade win of the season against Lockington Bamawm United at Lockington’s Nichol Trading Oval.
