Gippsland FNLMid Season Review | As the Gippsland League A Grade netball season reaches the halfway point, it's been a compelling campaign headlined by dominant teams, breakout stars, and thrilling contests. With nine rounds completed, the competition is beginning to take shape, and the race for finals is heating up.

Moe has emerged as the clear pacesetter, boasting an unblemished 9-0 record.

The Lions sit atop the ladder with a powerful percentage of 186.19, built on a combination of defensive discipline and attacking brilliance. Georgia Moody has been a standout, tied atop the MVP leaderboard with 27 votes and named in the Team of the Week six times.

Teammate Ashlea Mawer has also been prolific, sitting second in the league for goals (450 from 8 games) and just behind in MVP votes with 26.

Warragul (8-1) and Morwell (7-2) round out the top three and have been consistent contenders. Warragul’s Emma Ryde has been near-unstoppable in goals, leading the league with 619 from nine games, and has also featured in the Team of the Week six times. Defender Sienna Green (27 MVP votes) and midcourter Renee Cook have added further depth, making Warragul a serious threat.
