Match Review | IT WAS a two-goal thriller between Mitiamo and Pyramid Hill in Saturday’s 12th round of A-grade netball in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.
The Superoos and Bulldogs were back at the scene of last year’s grand final showdown at Mitiamo’s John Forbes Oval.
Just as it did in last season’s decider, Mitiamo fought on for victory.
Fans were again treated to a highly-skilled contest.
It was a high level of pressure from the first pass until the last.
Mitiamo’s unbeaten streak in the ’25 season hit 10 as it fougth on for a 59-57 victory.
The Superoos team coached by Abbey Battersby and Jess Kaur will play Maiden Gully YCW Eagles in next Saturday’s match at Marist College Oval.
Second in the title race on a nine-two record, Pyramid Hill will be back on its court at Mitchell Park to play Bears-Lagoon Serpentine next Saturday.
The Pyramdi Hill team is jointly coached by Chelsea Emmerson, Simone Edgley and Laura Herbert.
Newbridge dominated Saturday’s match against Maiden Gully YCW Eagles at Deepcore Drilling Riverside Oval in Newbridge.
